Oswald Pereira is a former journalist with 30 years of experience in journalism and communications.  He has served at many reputed publications including the Times of India, Outlook, Financial Express and The Times of Oman. He is also a faculty at the Times of India School of Journalism. His debut novel Beyond the Newsroom was published in 2007. His latest book The Newsroom Mafia has been widely read and praised. His writing style is known to be racy, thrilling, and unpredictable and often takes the reader by surprise.


Oswald has studied at St. Xavier's College, Mumbai and St. John the Baptist High School, Thane.


Along with journalism and writing novels he is also an English language trainer for corporate houses and offers complete editing and communication solutions. He has also managed and founded a research division for a top PR agency, an infrastructure website, and a technology-specific PR consultancy. Oswald has also been working with top e-Learning, IT and BPO companies.
